Tim McCarthy - General Manager

Tim McCarthy

General Manager
Tim was only 15 when his parents started the motorcycle business. Since he wasn't old enough to ride on the road, he bought a Yamaha YZ125 dirt bike. Later, while he was still in school, he attended several Yamaha service schools in Cudaly, Wisconsin. Throughout the years, he has attended a variety of classes and seminars including bookkeeping, sales, parts, manangement, and service manager. He currently serves as general manager. For the past 12 years, he has been a fixture at Delta, Milan, and Log Road race tracks, teaching and watching his boys race. Tim and his wife Karen live in Defiance and have two sons, Nick and Zack. Tim raced ATVs and traded his dirt bike for a streetbike. He also enjoyed the many family snowmobile trips to Michigan. The stand up Kawasaki jet ski was Tim's passion for many years, but now he enjoys the luxury of the three passenger cruisers.

Service

Scott Psurny - Service Manager

Scott Psurny

Service Manager
Phone: 419-782-4883 Option 3
Scott grew up northwest of Bryan, just around the corner from the original McCarthy shop. His dad, Bob, worked part time as a mechanic and his grandpa, Joe, was setting up new machines. A very young Scott watched and learned from Bob and Joe. Eventually he began to do little jobs and worked part-time through school. Scott graduated from University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Education and taught high school math for five years. He worked on motorcycles on Saturdays and summers. Scott decided that he was happier as a service tech than teaching and flipped back to his earlier position. Scott has attended many service-related classes and is a certified Honda mechanic. Scott enjoys riding his Yamaha street bike and giving his children the snowmobiling experiences like he enjoyed from an early age. Scott lives near Bryan with his four children. His oldest son, Logan, is now helping out around the store and learning along side his dad - continuing a tradition of Psurny technicians.
